Description
SNAP.
This guy has been through a big re-working. Character, appearence, blahblahblah. Trying to work him in with my other characters without changing the story was my aim, and I'm pretty sure this will work.
Deja 'Mystic' Sunder is his name, and rare/dangerous/powerful/mythical/historical artifacts are his game. Living in an ancient mine on the side of a mountain, Mystic has built an enormous library of secrets and other dangerous things. He keeps to himself, mostly, only sharing his hoard if you have something he wants more than whatever he already has (in which you'd better want more than anything else if you're climbing that damn mountain for just five minutes of his time).
Aside from that, he's done a lot of hunting. He'll hunt anything if the money/reward is good.
Mystic also thinks he is haunted by the ghost of his father, which inhabits a painting... when, really, he's just a bit nutty.
I actually bought him a dark brown wig, but I kind of maybe like this one better. Which is an expensive boo-boo, considering this one had been lying around for months :/ Kind of don't want him to have grey hair, but he looks so damn good in it x.x

Vision Originality
Technique ImpactWhat first got my attention was his eyes and the calm expression. It's funny, because before I read your artist commet one of the few words that came to my mind was "mystic". And that word deffiantly fits the whole piece. The soft and simple colours help make it more enchanting. More magical. If the colours were more bright, vibrant, and a wider variety, I don't think it would have jumped out as much to me in your gallery. Most pictures I usually see are pretty colourful (for the most part), and it's not very common to see pictures with 99% pale colours. But I do like how you have just a little hint of some other colour. And I think it's good how you chose a dark colour at that, helps balance the colours and not make it too pale.
I also like the posture he is in. I'm not really sure how to describe it but without reading the artist comment I could make a pretty cool interpretation of this piece and just makes me think. I think the brown wig would look pretty good if he had that instead of the grey, but I think it would have added too much colour and would have taken somthing away.
His eyes also draw you in fast with the way the light reflects off his dark eyes. And his eyes keep your eyes there for a few seconds, and even after it still keeps drawing you back.
Also another opinion: I think this kind of picture could look good with a guy or girl.
