My very first Abbey Bominable repaint. She was a pleasure to paint, practically painted herself. I used the Skull Shores version, whose head was actually far more transparent than my regular Abbey, an a bit lighter spatter with glitter. My regular Abbey's body had far less glitter than her head, so I ended up swapping the bodies so the glitter amount matched better lol.. I was very careful and only wiped the glitter I had ti wipe, so she still has a speckle of shine to her. Plus I added some shimmer! I used gloss with pearlescent shimmer to gloss her lips and eyes (I figured she's a fairy so glitter is okay!)

Well, I am very much loving this girl! I have her sitting by me looking super pretty. I am SO pleased with her! she's a million times prettier in person. I'm never one to gush about my own work, but goshhhh, she's just gorgeous and I'm struggling to get a photo that shows her just as she is.

I intended to repaint her and put her up for sale, but I might just have to wipe and repaint my default Abbey. She's much easier to find these days so it's not as hard a choice as it used to be. Plus I had a few issues with the pink in her hair snapping off at the roots, so i thought it best to keep her and just sell the other one. I'd much rather Spel than a default Abbey now :}

Anyway, character ramble!

Spel is a Tooth Fairy in training, and daughter of the head Tooth Fairy. It's a hell of a title to be under and a lot is expected from her. After years of living in secret, the Tooth Fairy Council (TFC) have decided (or realised) that times are changing, and they need to start picking up a more modern approach.

With young Spel begining her training, they've decide to train her under a very new and experimental curriculum. She's the very first TF to be sent out into the Monster World to experience what modern times have to offer, and hopefully learn new ways to improve the TFC's approach. Spel just thinks she's super lucky she can go to school and make friends. She's never had friends before!

Of course, with Spel practically TF royalty, she's off to the Haunted Academy, a prestigious Monster high-school for the more... affluent Monsters.

Unfortunately she's not the most socially educated ghoul, having been kept in her parent's house, the High Tooth Fairy Chambers, since she was a baby, and her ignorance concerning modern items is somewhat embarassing. With the help of Haunted Academy's top zombie, Georgie, and her best manster friend, a zombie werewolf named Andre, Spel is slowly (zombies don't work very fast, we all know that) becoming the most talked about ghoul in the school. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to her, it's for all the wrong reasons.
